She has interviewed women in politics at every level, crossing all party boundaries. Based on these interviews and scientific research she has written the book Zijkant van de Macht, in which she discusses hurdles women face when entering politics. The book is filled with practical advice and concrete tips, based on the scientific research and the advice of the interviewed women.
