SIB-Amsterdam is an association which is open to both students and youth. You can become member of our association at any moment in the year; there is no obligatory introduction period with hazing or other obligatory introduction activities. We do organise special events throughout the year to give you the opportunity to get to know our association and to meet new people. In September we have a so-called introduction week and in February we organise a special theme week. During this week in September and in February we organise activities on a daily base so people can get to know SIB and its members. All these activities are open to both non-members and members; you can come to some activities or to all the activities, whatever suits you best! In addition to these two weeks, we also organise an introduction trip to Brussels in the last weekend of September. This trip is only open to (new) members and the best way to successfully start your new study year!

The regular annual contribution is 50 Euros, or 29 Euros for registrations after 1 February for a half-yearly membership. You can become a member if you are a student; if you’re not a student you have to be between 16 and 35 years old.

I, the undersigned, hereby authorize SIB-Amsterdam (Dutch United Nations Student Association) to collect recurrent direct debit payments from my bank account. This will be for the regular annual contribution of 50 euros, or 29 euros for registrations after 1 February for a half-yearly membership, until 31 August of the year in question, but also for activities which I sign up for. Authorized transactions can be recalled within the 56 days (8 weeks) since the transaction. A termination notice must be submitted in writing and must be send to the secretary before 31 August prior to the academic year in which one wishes to terminate membership.
